Vienna Opera Ball 2018

The Vienna Opera Ball is the social highlight of the annual ball season. On 8 February, 2018, the State Opera was transformed once again into the world’s most elegant ballroom. The 62nd Opera Ball was a glittering party featuring stars, celebrities from the arts, culture, business and politics and many guests from around the world.

Valentina Nafornita, soprano and ensemble member of the Vienna State Opera, delighted the guests with her artistic performance during the musical opening of the Vienna Opera Ball 2018.

Hila Fahima, soprano and ensemble member of the Vienna State Opera, had also impressed the guests with her musical performance at the Wagner Event in the Palais Ferstel in the autumn of 2017.

Mirjam Weichselbraun, ORF live presenter, interviewed the guests in the most beautiful locations inside the Vienna State Opera.

Dr. Barbara Rett, arts and culture journalist and ORF live presenter, interviewed international stars and also hopeful young artists from the world of culture.
