Accessibility Statement

This statement covers the juwelier-wagner.at website, including its integrated online shop. Austria’s Barrierefreiheitsgesetz (BaFG) provides the statutory basis. Our technical development target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Further technical information is available in EN 301 549.

The website, including its integrated online shop, is currently not conformant with the accessibility requirements of the Austrian Barrierefreiheitsgesetz (BaFG).

Features

A description of the ordering process and the online shop’s accessibility features and limitations is available in the “Webshop” section of our Terms and Conditions.

• Navigation: The main, mobile and Rolex menus support keyboard operation and show visible focus indicators.
• Forms and checkout: Forms provide labelled fields and guidance; checkout leads step by step to the order summary.
• Images: The website uses German image descriptions; decorative images have no alternative text.
• Documents: The withdrawal form and ring size guide (PDF, German) are available as structured PDFs. The fillable fields in the withdrawal form are labelled.
• Videos: The revised video players have visible controls to start and pause playback and respect reduced-motion preferences.
• Layout: Long words in body copy and the footer wrap at narrow widths.

Known limitations

Page structure and operation across all pages, forms, search and checkout are not consistently ensured for screen readers. Some text and background combinations, including in navigation, buttons and the footer, have insufficient contrast. Image descriptions are incomplete in parts of the Rolex section and in embedded social media. Captions and video descriptions are not generally available. Not all PDF documents are prepared accessibly; operation with assistive technologies is not consistently ensured.

Further development

We are addressing the known limitations and plan a new full review by December 2026.
